China Exhibition

*** China Exhibition at the Ulster University, Belfast. ***

This Tuesday (29th) our KS2 pupils will be travelling to the Ulster University in Belfast for an exhibition on China.
In September, St Joseph's partnered up with the De La Salle, Downpatrick, and the Confucius Institute, to start a programme of Mandarin in our school.
These lessons are delivered by Miss Li, a native of China, on a Friday morning. They have so far proved to be a qualified success with our pupils havi...ng taken to learning the language with great vigour. They are also enjoying learning about the cultural aspects of the country as well as its place as one of the emerging nations in the world.
All children are asked to be present in school for 8:30am on Tuesday morning as the coach will be leaving at 8:50am sharp. Each child is permitted to bring a bottle of water and a healthy snack. The children will return to school for 12:30pm in time for lunch.
