Acceletated Reader
Accelerated Reader (AR) continues to be a hugely important facet of our KS2 literacy programme. Today nine pupils received certificates for attaining a new level in their AR journey. Well done to Nathan, Holly, Ryan, Seán, Donal, Kieva, Grace, Leon and Hollie.
Two pupils that are currently excelling in AR are Emer (P5) and Kayla (P6). Both girls have received ten stars as part of our incentivised programme. They were presented today with book tokens as an acknowledgement of their dedication to reading and quizzing.
Since we returned to school in August the pupils from KS2 have collectively read a staggering 1,222,896 words between them with 91 quizzes taken.
