*** Down Community Arts Cultural Workshop ***
Today we engaged in a very enjoyable funded workshop led by Peter Surginor (Preaching House Pottery) and Mary-Jane Burns.
Inspired by the Book of Kells, the children created images and designs that will be printed on an oversized helium balloon to be used as part of this year’s St Patrick’s Day parade in Downpatrick.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this morning’s activities and we thank Peter and Mary-Jane for facilitating it.
