*** First Holy Communion ***
We had a very special day today in St Joseph’s with our P4 children receiving their First Holy Communion.
It was a beautiful ceremony with Kayla, Maci, Hollie, Holly, Fionn and Paschal all contributing brilliantly to the readings, prayers and singing. They were a credit to their school and their families. We thank the children for their efforts and Mrs Toner for the work she did to prepare them all for the day.
A large crowd of family and friends and those from our school community then gathered in our school hall for our traditional brunch. Thanks here is relayed to our school staff for their preparation of the hall and for making it all so special.
We hope that all the communicants enjoy the rest of their day and Father Peter has extended an invite to them all to attend Mass tomorrow morning in St Joseph’s at 11:30am so that they can be presented to the rest of the parishioners.
