Maths Measure Up!
5th Jun 2017
The children from P1 and P2 took full advantage of the sunshine and moved their maths lesson out-side to measure the capacity of a variety of containers. The children used rice, water and maths cubes to measure capacity. They understood that to carry out a fair test, they had to make sure their scoops were full right up to the brim and they understood that they had to use the same scoop during each capacity investigation. The children became very clever at predicting how many it would take and their predictions and estimates became quite accurate. Well done P1 and P2.
