*** Newry, Mourne and Down District Council 'Green Flag' Reception ***
On Tuesday the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Chairperson held the annual 'Green Flag' reception in Warrenpoint Town Hall. The reception recognised the achievement of local schools in the area who obtained a Green Flag as part of their Eco-Schools Programme.
Blake, Caitlin and Darragh attended the ceremony on behalf of the St Joseph's Eco-Council while our Eco-Schools' co-ordinator Mrs Toner and Mrs Macfarlane were also in attendance.
