Well done to our P6's and P7's who were awarded Accelerated Reader accreditations today for the recent progress that they have made with their personal reading.
Caitlín (P6) attained her Rising Reader 2, Corey (P7) has moved up to Ready Reader 2 level while Patrick (P7) and Kelsey (P7) are now Independent Reader accredited.
The children in the P6/P7 class are currently availing of trips to Downpatrick library, a new intake of books into the classroom and some brilliant new offerings from the library bus.
Reading is being enjoyed by everyone in school at the moment due to the incentives offered from the Accelerated Reader Scheme. Long may it continue!
