We held our P7 Leavers' Assembly this afternoon in what turned out to be a very emotional but enjoyable ceremony.
The P7's recounted their best memories at school and then did a brilliant recitation of Allan Ahlberg's "Leavers' Song."
The awards then took place with the following being the winners:
Religion - Katelyn Leckey...

World Around Us - Charlie Gelston
Reading/Phonics - Gerry Ward
Numeracy - Ryan Hackett
Literacy - Lewis McClenaghan
Fitzsimons Family Shield - Jamie O'Neill
Killough Pharmacy Endeavour Cup - Conáire Laverty
The leavers were then presented with specially embroidered pens and a collage of their time in school.
The assembly was brought to an end with the pupils performing a stirring rendition of The Script's "Hall of Fame."
Thank you to all the staff who helped make today so memorable. It was also great to see so many parents and family members in attendance.
