P7's Participate in Safer Internet Day
Safer Internet Day 2017
The P7 class got involved in an "in house" workshop today.
We watched Youtube clips of different internet safety messages from around the globe and a hearty discussion followed.
We then brainstormed all the social media apps that we knew before each person took two of these apps and researched them before creating the app's logo for our classroom display....
We finished off with a 'mix and match' activity that was based around emojis which then led in to some PDMU work surrounding thoughts and feelings.
There were great levels of participation from everyone.
At the end of the workshop all the pupils in the class were presented with a 'Junior Bring It On - My Internet Safety Pledge' certificate which they themselves agreed to sign as will their parents.
