Upcoming training workshops to support children and young people with Autism and/or related disorders
For Professionals and Parents were relevant – teachers, teaching assistants, education welfare officers, social workers, family support workers, respite staff, health visitors, childcare staff, youth workers, etc.
28th September 2018 – Anxiety: Practical Strategies for Managing Anxiety to help children and young people with Autism and/or related disorders.
19th October 2018 – Behaviour Management in the Classroom setting associated with Autism and/or related disorders.
23rd November 2018 – Understanding and Managing Challenging Behaviour associated with Autism and/or related disorders.
7th December 2018 – Strategies to help children/young people with Autism (and/or related disorders) to help increase their Social Confidence/Skills
All workshop sessions 10am-2pm at PEAT HQ in Belfast.
Fee: £40 parent £70 per professional including refreshments and a light lunch.
PEAT has been delivering Autism Intervention, Support and Training across Northern Ireland for 20 years.
PEAT workshops can be replicated for in house training. This can save money in attendance fees and travel costs, as well as enabling the motivation of a larger group in one session.
