*** Sporting Success for Leo ***
Our P6 pupil Leo Noble was the star for Downpatrick FC on Saturday as he scored a hat trick to help the county town side to a 4-2 U-11 League Cup victory over Lisburn Distillery in the finals day of the Lisburn Youth League.
For his efforts Leo was awarded the man of the match award and also got to take home the match ball as the hat trick hero. His exploits even made it to the Daily Mirror today who ran a story on the winning teams on finals ...day.
We in St Joseph’s are immensely proud of all our pupils when they excel in their sporting endeavours outside of school and we are delighted with Leo’s achievements on Saturday. A very talented footballer who has a big future ahead of him on the football field.
