*** Sports Day 2019 ***
In St Joseph’s we stick to a very traditional format for our sports day. The bean bag race, sack race, potato and spoon race, obstacle race, sprint race and cross country race were all competed for by the boys and girls in P1 to P7.
In addition we had a toddlers’ race, mum’s race, dad’s race and our ever entertaining Tug o’ War competition.Yet again the event proved to be a great success with a first rate effort given by all competitors.
Thank you goes to our staff for ensuring everything ran so smoothly, to all those in our school community who attended and to the children for making it yet another very memorable day. A thank you also goes to our parent Mr Frank Gough for his photos of all the action.
