🚀 ULSTER TRANSPORT MUSEUM 🚀
P4-7 had an out of this world trip today to the Ulster Transport Museum to get up close to The Soyuz capsule and parachute which transported astronaut Tim Peake safely back to earth after his mission on the International Space Station in 2015-2016. The children enjoyed the interactive display and learned about life in space.
The girls and boys also took part in a STEM Space Rocket workshop investigating the science and technology behind launching space rockets.
After lunch the children enjoyed viewing the permanent transport exhibitions including horse drawn carriages, Irish build motor cars, steam locomotives, aircrafts and ships.
