A massive well done goes to the Bright U-14 footballers who today clinched the East Down B Championship after a tremendous victory over Teconnaught.
We in St Joseph’s are massively proud of the fact that 9 of the 17 strong panel came through our school namely Conaíre Laverty, Jack Laverty, Tony Crane, Ryan Hackett, Gerry Ward, Daire McLaughlin, Charlie Gelston, Tony McIlhone and Jamie McIlhone.
These boys displayed real passion for the GAA during their time in St Joseph’s and we are delighted that their efforts were rewarded today with a championship win.
