World Children's Day

World Children’s Day   Today, Friday 20th November, marks World Children’s Day. As a school that is signed up to the UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools’ platform, we acknowledged the event with a mini workshop in KS2. To tie in with the themes emanating from Anti-Bullying Week, Mr Fitzsimons’ class worked on the ‘Votes For Schools’ resource that focussed on individual diversity and self awareness. The whole school recognised that today is a day for children by children. A day to imagine a better future for every child.
