*** Dundrum GAA Tournament ***
Our school GAA team ventured to Páirc Sean Ó Caoilte this morning for the annual tournament in Dundrum which is organised by the Sacred Heart P.S.
After a very encouraging performance at the Pat Watterson Memorial Cup last month, St Joseph’s continued their rich vein of form and reached the semi finals for the second tournament in succession.

After four very exciting group games, we finished second in our group which earned us a quarter final playoff. We won our playoff which took us into the semi finals. Despite an excellent last five minutes, we were defeated by one point by St Francis P.S. Drumaroad. Drumaroad went on to lose the final by a single score to eventual champions Sacred Heart P.S. Dundrum.
A massive well done once again goes to our squad who continue to participate in and enjoy our national game. Some of the football on display was of the highest order.
A huge thanks as well goes to those parents who assisted with lifts to and from the venue. Your support as always is appreciated.
